Client Leadership resume template

A crisp sans-serif design with bold role lines and compact achievements for a long client-facing career.

Before you download: Uses fixed text boxes with embedded Avenir font subsets. Keep replacement text close to the sample length; text does not flow from one box to the next.

Edit Client Leadership in Word

Choose one page for a tightly selected career history with short entries. Use the supplied two-page file when additional client work deserves space; the first file will not automatically expand into that layout. Both versions close with Education and Awards. A flowing-text design is easier if your wording needs frequent length changes.

Section order: Name and contact details → Experience, with role, client, employer and dates → Additional client and delivery detail in the two-page version → Education → Awards

  1. Edit each text box separately

Click inside the existing text boxes and replace the sample wording in place. Some sentences span separate boxes. Check the title, client, agency, dates and every continuation line; a longer replacement can be clipped or overlap neighboring text instead of moving it down.

  2. Check every new character

The file embeds Avenir Next and Avenir subsets, not necessarily every character in those fonts. New names, symbols or accented letters may require an installed font. Check them in Word and in your exported file, especially where substituted characters change the width of a line.

  3. Inspect positions on both pages

Text does not reflow between boxes or onto a new page. Shorten wording to the available space, then inspect at full size for clipped text and overlap. Confirm Education and Awards remain last, and check the exported text order as well as its appearance.

Why this sample bullet works

Fictional example from the 1-page sample

Expanded direct mail testing, increasing response rates by 18 percent over the prior control package.

The bullet identifies a marketing action and an explicit comparison. An 18 percent increase is different from an increase of 18 percentage points. Your own wording should name the result accurately and distinguish a measured test outcome from later campaign performance.

Find the facts for your own version

  • What audience, offer or creative change did you test?
  • What was the comparison, and how was response measured?
  • What part of the client decision or delivery did you personally lead?

Use only details you can support. You do not need to invent a number to describe useful work.
